We will miss you, Gabby Gonzalez

We are all devastated by the unexpected loss of our beloved Gabriella Gonzalez, who crossed into the spirit world Friday, December 1, 2023, at UC Health Greeley Hospital in Greeley, CO. She was born March 1, 1996 to John Gonzalez and Charlotte Belone. She spent her early years in North Rapid City, attending Knollwood Heights Elementary. Her family moved to Seba Dalkai, AZ, in 2005 when she was nine years old.
At the age of 16, Gabby suffered from an extreme broken heart after her brother Charles passed away from Neuroendocrine cancer in 2011. She was also very close with her grandparents, Geneva and Gabriel Gonzalez who passed away in 2006 and 2009, and continued grieving over their deaths as well. Should would often say how much she missed her grandma, grandpa and Charles. She turned to alcohol to numb the pain and life became a struggle for her. She got into a lot of very dysfunctional relationships. All those who loved and cared for her would advise her to leave the relationship she was in. Everybody always prayed for her safety and expressed their love and encouragement. She became close with her niece, Jaylee and they stayed in close contact and had such an adoration for one another. No matter what Gabby was going through, she always had time to care for other people in need. She brought a lot of love, happiness, and comfort to the ones she loved and was 100% "Daddy's Girl."
The family is not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service and bringing her home to Rapid City from Colorado. We want to give Gabby the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. The family humbly asks for donations to help cover the cost of Gabby's funeral, memorial service, burial, and headstone.
