Funeral Expenses for Guadalupe Castillo

Dear Family and Friends,

My name is Mayra and I am fundraising on behalf of my cousin Laura Castillo. This past Saturday morning of July 22nd, 2023, our family experienced the sudden and shocking loss of my Uncle (Tio) Guadalupe Castillo due to a heart attack. Simply known as "Chon" to many, he was a beloved father, uncle, grandpa, brother, friend, colleague, and so many other roles through which his care and service for others shined bright, especially during his later years.

He greatly loved his family, both in blood and in Spirit through his home church community, always willing to help with what he could, especially with setting up and leading Friday night service programs. We will sorely feel his absence at future home church meetings but are at peace knowing he is at rest in the presence of Jesus Christ.

To memorialize my Tio, financial support is needed to fully cover the expenses of cremation and funeral services. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by my cousin Laura and our immediate Castillo and Blanco family. We are currently making arrangements with Sunset Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas and will keep you posted on viewing and service plans.
