Cemetery and Burial Expenses for Irene Rodriguez

This fundraiser is for cemetery and burial expenses of our beloved sister in Christ, Irene Rodriguez.
Irene began volunteering at the age of 16, with the catechism group in her hometown church in Colton, CA. At the age of 20, she became a nun for the Order of the Guardian Angels of Spain, where she learned Spanish and studied psychology.
Irene was Director of Religious Education for 25 years in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and then moved to the Diocese of San Bernardino in Banning, where she continued her ministry as Director of Religious Education for the past 9 years, in the parish of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Banning/Beaumont.
She was a great human being, as well as an exceptional daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and servant of God who will be greatly missed.
May she rest in God's perpetual light. Rest in Peace. Amen.

Irene comenzó como voluntaria en Catecismo a la edad de 16 años en su iglesia natal en Colton, CA. A la edad de 20 años se consagro como hermana religiosa para la Orden de los Ángeles Guardianes de España, en donde aprendió español y estudió psicología.
Irene fue Directora de Educación Religiosa durante 25 años en la Aquidiócesis de los Angeles y luego se trasladó a la Diócesis de San Bernardino en Banning, donde continuo su ministerio como Directora de Educación Religiosa durante los últimos 9 años, en la parroquia de St. Kateri Tekakwitha Banning/Beaumont.
Fue un gran ser humano como hija, hermana, tía, amiga y servidora de Dios a quién se va a extrañar mucho.
Brille para ella la luz perpetua, Descanse en Paz, Así sea.
