Funeral Expenses for Israel Cyprian

Israel Ahmad Cyprian, 22-years-old, better known to many as “Izzy” transitioned at 8:31pm, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, due to heart failure. Izzy was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Prader-Willi Syndrome is a complex genetic condition that affects many parts of the body and has no cure. When he was born doctors told his mother, Tamsin "Nicole," that he would have a few days to live -- Izzy beat those odds! When he was 12, doctors told his mother, again, that he wouldn’t make it to see 21. He defied odds again and again because of his 'bigger than life' attitude. To know Izzy is to love him. He had a passion for dancing and being in a second line. Music was the joy of his life. Our hearts are heavy, but we know he's second lining on streets paved with gold. The family is now preparing for Izzy's final resting place; however, they need the financial assistance of family and friends because he couldn’t obtain a life insurance policy due to his life-long medical condition. What's more, Tamsin also has a serious medical condition and has just recently been able to return to work. Grief of losing a loved-one is a lot to bear and that coupled with the stress of not knowing how you're going to pay for the funeral can be overwhelming. What the family wants to do more than anything is to bring him home to Louisiana to his final resting place.
