Funeral Expenses for Issac Hokett

Please Note: All funds will be directed to the family, I am only helping by organizing and monitoring this fundraiser.

Friends, it is never an easy task to lay someone to rest, let alone your child. It is for this reason we are reaching out to you. Our friend, James, has the unbearable task of burying his only child, Issac, and needs your help. The expenses associated with a funeral and the passing of a young life are great and daunting. We are asking you now for help in covering those expenses the best we can.

Please see these words from James himself:

“Issac was a kind loving and compassionate person. He always put the needs of others before himself. He was active in the JROTC program in school, earning two of the top awards given for his service commitment and dedication to his group. He loved and held his teammates, and commanders in his heart. He talked about joining the Army to become a combat medic so he could in his own words " help and save those who needed it." We don't want to hide the fact that he took his own life. The day that he did, he was happy, cheerful. Was helping me and his mom throughout the day. I have no answers only questions. But his love for everyone shines throughout these dark clouds. My mom passed away when I was around his age. Marbles were a big part of her memorial service and every year on the anniversary of her death we would hide marbles in her memory so everyone could cherish those happy moments. No parent should have to bury their own child, and my heart bleeds everyday...”

It is evident in every word from those around him that Issac was loved beyond measure and loved just as much. The impact he had on those around will leave a lasting impression and the depth of his kindness and compassion were boundless. This was evident from the words of his grandfather:

“Issac was such a tremendous human being – so compassionate, kind, loving, and supportive. My life has been so deeply touch by this remarkable young man.”

When a child passes the strain and stress on the family are unimaginable, I am asking for your help today to aid in relieving one source of stress for the family. Any assistance you can provide will be of a great relief to the family and help them as they deal with the unbearable.
