Funeral Expenses for Jeff Schaefer

My name is Kathy, I am the daughter of Lynn and Jeff Schaefer. My husband and I have been taking care of my parents who have been living with us and our four children since 2018 when my Mom's health started declining. On Sunday, February 19, 2023, my husband and I found my Dad unresponsive and not breathing in his room. Paramedics worked on my Dad for a half hour before the time of death was called at home. Last September, we found my Mom, in the same room, dead from a sudden massive heart attack. Neither of my parents had life insurance and their financial situation was poor due to health issues and medical bills. We are asking for help paying for the funeral expenses, to alleviate some of the financial burdens that my family has been left with. With the exception of donations that helped cover some of the burial expenses for my Mom, my husband and I were left with a significant debt for the funeral expenses.
