Funeral Expenses for Jonathan Rico

Hi, my name is Rolanda Rico. I am Jon's mom. As you already know, my beautiful son passed away on Sunday unexpectedly.

These funds will be used to pay for his funeral expenses. As a mother, I never expected to be burying my child. As with life, I am completely unprepared for this. My son had such a beautiful soul and the brightest smile ever. If you were his friend, he was your friend for life. Someone you could trust and rely on always.

Jon is my firstborn. My miracle baby. He always wanted to be involved in everything and excel at everything. This was also true as he grew up. He did well in school and loved sports. He participated in football, wrestling and Track and Field.

As you all know, a huge part of his adult life was being a Marine. He thrived in that environment and accomplished so many things.

He made so many friends everywhere he went. It is these friends I want to thank. Thank you for loving Jon. Thank you for giving a part of your life to him. THANK YOU for making him happy and bringing out his beautiful and infectious smile. Little did we know it would be for a very short time. Although I have to say goodbye to my wonderful son, I am forever blessed and changed by him. I will always be his mother.. I will always love him.
