Funeral Expenses for Jonathan Steele

The loss of Jon is devastating to many who loved him and admired his work ethic, his sense of humor, and his strength and desire to help people. Sadly, Jon's journey through life included experimenting with drugs. His overdose on June 18th ended his life and left his family overwhelmed with grief. Gene and Annette Steele, my parents, are carrying the weight of loss and also the weight of funeral expenses. We feel the love of everyone who wants to help in some way. Many people have brought over food and hugs and a shoulder to cry on, others have asked if they could help financially. This gofundme account is only to help with funeral and burial expenses. If the goal is reached and funds continue to come in they will be sent directly to the Modesto Gospel Mission, as they contributed so much support to Jon and continue to help local men find their way through addictions.
