Josh Fonner Memorial Fund
Celebrate the Life of Josh Fonner by helping to fund his funeral expenses and legacy.
Joshua Ryan Fonner
April 23, 1988 - January 5, 2017
Josh was rushed to the hospital with difficulty breathing. His heart stopped before the ambulance arrived and staff was unable to revive him.
The world has been robbed of a beautiful soul and the art he was intent on creating. He was born a brilliant ball of fire. He was larger than life and he needs to be remembered as such. Please help his family give him the send off this indomitable Christian goth boy deserves. We are asking for donations to cover his funeral expenses and any amount over those costs will be used to do something in his honor to preserve his legacy, and his loving, kind heart. Donations are needed immediately to make Josh's final arrangements.
In his own words, Josh was: "Podcaster, actor, ukulelist, meme, writer, aspiring director and entertainer, media slut, Bipolar I."
Josh was a man of many talents and interests. He had so many plans and so much creativity to share. This was sometimes hampered by his living with Bipolar along with treatment resistent depression and anxiety disorders, but even that he turned into an opportunity to connect with people, giving voice to his (and their) struggles, working to remove the stigma of mental illness.
James 4:17 "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them." This was Josh's guiding principle. If he had it in his power to help someone, he knew it was the right thing to do. He touched so many lives with his wit, creativity, and sincere kindness.
Josh is survived by his adoring mom, his loved dad, his devoted girlfriend who was the love of his life, and her loving mom, his two very close younger brothers and sister-in-law, and neice and nephew, his grandfather and other family and MANY friends and loved ones. We are all devistated at his passing.
A special account is being created by Josh's Mom, Robin, and his Love, Mab, and the funds will only be used for Josh's final arrangements and to do something to preserve and honor his legacy.
Meaningful suggestions on what to do in Josh's honor are welcome. Please leave them in your comments on this page.
