Funeral Expenses for Lidia Elizabeth Moreno

It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the untimely and sudden passing of Lidia Elizabeth Moreno. Lidia was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, wife, friend and traveling companion. She was also the tough but caring elementary school teacher that every child in their formative years needs and remembers.

Her death was extremely sudden, and her surviving children are raising funds to cover expenses for the remaining balance of the funeral plan she was purchasing as well as a memorial service to be held in January. Excess funds will be used to help the family as well as to set up a memorial scholarship in her name to assist an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in education, especially one seeking to teach in an underserved community (as Lidia did). The family appreciates any donation you can make.

Lidia was born with only one kidney and despite needing a donation herself at the time of her passing, she was able to help one or more individuals with her gift of organ donation.
