Funeral Expenses for Maria Bacila

Cu durere in suflet si multa tristete, deschidem aceasta campanie de strangere de fonduri in memoria d-nei Maria Bacila, care ne-a fost foarte apropiata pe perioada intregii noastre sederi in Portland, iar d-nul Gheorghe Bacila, sotul dansei, a fost crasnic si cantaret la Biserica "Sfanta Maria" pentru o foarte lunga perioada de timp. Doamna Maria Bacila a plecat dintre noi in mod neasteptat in cursul acestei dimineti, joi 26 ianuarie 2017.
Dupa o lupta crunta si indelungata cu boala si neputinta, mai bine de 2 luni, avandu-si alaturi intrega familie din Statele Unite, bunica Maria a fost externata la casa fiicei sale, Rodica Titeiu pentru a se recupera dupa interventiile medicale majore si costisitoare prin care a trecut. In toata aceasta perioada a fost insotita de nenumarate rugaciuni inaltate de catre preoti si credinciosi, dar mai ales de catre sotul dansei, domnul Gheorghe Bacila, cel cu care a impartasit 52 de ani de casnicie.
Din nefericire, lucrurile nu au evoluat dupa asteptarile tuturor iar in aceasta dimineata, doamna Maria Bacila a plecat dintre noi in bratele fiicei sale Rodica Titeiu
pe parcursul unui somn linistit, somn ce i-a fost spre odihna vesnica. Rodica Titeiu va avea grija ca aceste fonduri sa fie distribuite in mod corespunzator pentru a acoperi o mare parte din cheltuielile de inmormantare.
On this day, January 26th 2017, a beautiful soul left this place to join her Father in heaven. To be in a place free of pain, free of sadness and free of her earthly body that for too long had caused her pain.
Today we say goodbye to Maria Bacila, the wife, mother, grandmother and unfailing friend, but know that this goodbye is not forever. Today we mourn our loss not hers, for finally she is free.
For months Maria fought. She fought to be with her family, and with the same vigor her family fought to hold on to her but it was not without a cost. As a gesture of kindness and friendship this account would help her family combat the financial burdens of Maria’s long hard fight. It would relieve the burden of choosing between finances and being able to provide her with the memorial they wish her to have.
Any contribution would tell Maria’s family that they are not alone and that in times like these we hold each other up. Her daughter, Maria Titeiu, will be the person who will received all the donations and manage the funds to be properly disbursed for funeral expenses.
