Funeral expenses for my dad (Doug Ulbrich)

Hi my name is Shannan and I’m fundraising for my dad. My dad passed away at the age of 59 unexpectedly on February 22nd after a long battle of declining health. As he had no assets and as I am his next of kin, I am responsible for his arrangements. I’d love to follow through on his wishes of being cremated, but am unable to provide the funds myself.

In his prime, he was a nature and animal lover and a dare devil with a wild personality. I attribute my own love for wildlife to the experiences I had with him hiking the various trails of huntingdon growing up. Some of my favorite memories growing up were hiking the thousand steps and catching snakes and lizards along they way. He was very personable and knew no strangers, only friends. He was well known in Huntingdon for his talkative personality and could hold a meaningful conversation with almost anyone he met.

Our family is at peace knowing he is no longer in pain and struggling with his health. Please consider donating so we can lay him to rest as we cannot move forward without funds.

All funds raised will go to me to cover the cost of his cremation. Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Huntingdon Humane Society in his memory.
