Funeral expenses for Nathan Bridges mother

UPDATE:  After meeting with Nathan and his brother, I am raising the goal.  When Nathan and I originally spoke, prior to setting up this fundraiser, I had very few details to work with so I picked a goal that frankly, was arbitrarily chosen.  The cremation has been funded at this point, but hospice care was not covered by insurance and a few other expenses are still needing to be covered.  I am raising the goal to $5000.  Additionally, in the event that people would prefer to donate directly to him, message him for Venmo details or contact me and I can get you in touch with Nathan.  Thanks to all of you who have pitched in! 

One of my best friends, Nathan Bridges, is about to lose his mother to cancer; as he said, we're probably looking at hours...not days. He and his brother are both not prepared to absorb the costs associated with death of a loved one. This cancer is usually not detected until it is too late, and one of the most deadly forms of liver cancer (his mother was NOT a drinker); so they have not had much time to prepare. I don't know many other people that I respect more than this man. He is a spectacular human being, a loving father, a true friend, and a has been a stalwart activist for liberty for a number of years. I am hoping that those who know him and others with compassionate hearts will contribute even just a little to help he and his brother to handle cremation and other expenses upon his mother's passing.  Anything you can contribute helps.
