Funeral expenses for O-Sensei Skipper Ingham

Frederick Innis Wood Ingham, known as O-Sensei Skipper, passed at 10.18 pm on November 9 in the hospital with his immediate family present.

He was known as the godfather of martial arts in Bermuda, having introduced the art of karate to the island in 1970. His karate practice continued until about five years ago, when health problems curtailed this and another art he loved, playing the flute.

The family expresses our sincerest thanks for your prayers, words of encouragement, telephone calls and all other expressions of love and kindness shown to us in support during this difficult time. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses; any donation is greatly appreciated.

Memorial service to be held on November 22, 2022 at 11:30 am at Albouy's Point with a private burial at sea to follow.
