Funeral expenses for our beloved Jared Valdez

Hi, my name is Lucy Watie it is with a heavy heart and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Jared. Jared passed away early this afternoon June 1, 2022 in Iowa at the very young age of 29. Our family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time without life insurance or any other source of funding. My cousin Jared was a former resident of Ulysses and graduated from Ulysses High School. Jared was very loving, caring and had a great sense of humor. He loved the Lord and had such a servant heart. His mother’s wish is to bring him home to Kansas and to honor him with the proper funeral and burial he deserves. This is going to be a challenge because there will be the unexpected transporting fee to being him home. We are urgently asking for any contributions from friends, family or community members that bless our family in our time of loss, sorrow and unbearable pain. If you can all remember to lift us up in prayer tonight, tomorrow and in the days to come it would mean so much to us. God bless you in abundance from the Valdez/Guzman family.
