Funeral Expenses for Our Beloved Mother Rhonda
Donation protected
On November 30th, 2024, I received a call from my sister that our mother, Rhonda Fite, had passed away in her sleep sometime early that morning. Though she has struggled throughout the years with various health issues, it was all so sudden. Unbelievable. She had talked with us previously that she had an insurance policy set in place if anything ever happened to her. Unfortunately, she had to stop paying towards that when her income wasn't quite enough to make it through the month. I have called about that policy and was told it was an old policy and would need to be reviewed. We'll hear back from that in about 2 weeks. I feel that since she had to quit paying towards that, the chances of getting anything from it are very slim. Though she tried to set something up so we wouldn't have to struggle with paying off her final wishes—life happened.
We decided to keep her services simple because all the bells and whistles when it comes to a funeral weren't what was important anyway. Gathering with family and friends to share love and laughter was the most important. With that being said, the cost is still more than what we are able to gather at this time. I appreciate any amount that has already been donated, and if sharing is all you can do to help, I appreciate that as well.
Life is so unpredictable. Losing a mother is a feeling I never wish upon anyone. Though at some point, we will all go through it. Hold your loved ones close and never take a minute for granted.
Reaching out for help is something that isn't easy. And asking for donations is even harder. But, I don't have to do this alone.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please donate if you can, or share.
Much love.
