Funeral Expenses for our Dad
Donation protected
In July of 2016, our dad received a diagnosis that nobody wants to hear. Colon Cancer. He has always been fairly healthy, and the news devastated our family. At the time of diagnosis, it was already at a stage 4 status, spreading to the liver and lung. Daddy is a fighter, and without question chose to dive head first into chemotherapy treatments with the hope of lengthening the 6 month prognosis he'd been given.
The past 5 months has been a rollercoaster of emotions for our whole family. Between dozens of chemotherapy treatments, we were able to spend precious, immeasurably special moments with our dad.
It's with a heavy heart, our dads hard fought battle is coming to a close. He is tired, and will soon be in his heavenly home with those who have gone before him.
Our father has been our provider, protector, best friend, confidant, and hero. He has held our hand through good and bad, and always inspired us to roll with the punches. It is now our turn to pull together and provide for him in the best way we know how.
Funeral expenses have yet to be expressed, and we come to you as our dearest family and friends, to ask for any possible assistance you may be able to provide. We understand that so many have financial burdens of their own, therefore if this is not possible then that is okay. Any small gift will be forever appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
We thank you all for your love and prayers through this time. Through the struggles, we have so many people to be thankful for this holiday season.
