God had other plans for my dad. Last night at 10pm my dad passed due to COVID-19. To begin, he was critical. Then we got the devastating call that he may not make it. Our hearts were completely shattered. Life under the worlds circumstances just became even worse than we could ever begin to perceive. I asked for prayer and that we were given. From family and friends all over the world. The very next day he began to improve, just a tiny bit at a time. We had hopes he would slowly recover but COVID-19 had already done so much damage and eventually everything began to shut down. Our hearts were lost!
This help will assist with proper funeral services and aid to his wife -our mom. Thank you in advance for your contributions.
To think about never really getting to say goodbye will never sit well with me. But one thing is for sure he went in peace and he lived his life to the fullest. So I will try my best to accept it. My dad was the rock of our family. We all went to him for everything I mean everything. He absolutely breathed and lived his girls all 8 of them. He would do anything for any one of us. He was just a phone call away-always! Sick in the hospital he called me crying like who would give Alannah rides after school and I told him it would be him it would all be ok. But he mustve known then. I never saw this coming in my life and it still doesn't resignate. My dad was known all over, anywhere he went he had friends and knew someone. He was humble, yet strict w us but all for good reason. He didn't take sh*t from anyone. He spoke up when he needed to. He taught me many life skills that I will keep forever. He built me just like him and I will forever he grateful for that. He was also hard to please but he approved of my Anthony, always asked how he was and told me he loved how much Ant loved my girls. That was something they shared and he couldn't deny it. He was fun, and all he loved to talk about his girls, and his country El Salvador. Every time he went he would bring clothes and anything that fit in his suitcase for ppl in need over there. On the day he got sick I found the last screenshot on his phone- his granddaughters. God did he love them so much and Alannah that was his pure heart. His dream was to take Alannah to El Salvador before he passed and last year he made it happen. He almost couldn't take her but he made it happen. My mom reminded me that all these happened bc it was in God's plans. My dad always wanted all his girls together w him and I can say I'm content that he leaves with his heart filled of our love. To my dad... I LOVE YOU ALWAYS and thank you for giving me the life you did. Thank you for building me to be you!
To all who have lost a loved one due to COVID-19- Our hearts our with you and your not alone!
