Funeral Expenses for The Kokinda Family

Hi, I am a friend of the Kokinda’s (Teri) works with me and is a special friend of mine as well as Korey. I am coming together for this precious family who doesn’t ask for much but in times when we need help we turn to others and we all could use help. Korey’s Dad passed away Christmas Eve night and Kenny didn’t have Life Insurance so I am helping out with the cost of funeral expenses for them because this is the last thing they need on their plate. They are so exhausted and have so much on them so I wanted to help and come together for them to help cover burial costs. Last weekend Kenny was found unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital the night of December 18th where he stayed for a week. They ran several tests and it showed no brain activity due to the hypoxia brain injury. We are all saddened by the loss of Kenny and he will be missed by all! It’s been a hard Christmas for the entire family without him. All the tireless nights they have been dealing with along with trying to not miss work while taking in all this news. Please let’s pass and share this for Teri, Korey and the entire family to help them with the costs of the funeral expenses. ALL DONATIONS are greatly appreciated at this time. Kenneth “Kenny” Peter Kokinda age 66, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday – December 24, 2022. He was born in LaPuente, California to the late Ernest Michael and Donna Jo Ledford Kokinda. He retired from Cotton’s Service Center in Ringgold, GA where he was a mechanic for several years. Kenny has resided in the Ringgold area for the past twenty-seven years and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed drag racing, riding and being around horses and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy & Opal Ledford. Kenny is survived by his children: Kevin Kokinda, Korey (Teri) Kokinda all of Ringgold, GA, Kelly (Darryl) Dickson of Woodstock, GA, grandchildren: Alexandria Marcus, Myriah Marcus, Abigail Marcus, Sophia Dickson, Dakota Dickson, Riley Kokinda, Kaylee Kokinda, Elizabeth Kokinda, Michael Kokinda, Jacob Kokinda, brother: Jeff (Jenny) Kokinda of Grand Terrace, CA, niece: Ally Fazio. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm – Monday – January 2, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens
