Funeral Expenses for The Vargas/Martinez Family
Donation protected
Yesterday evening, December 26th, around 5:30pm, Donna Martinez (48), her children, Amanda (29) and Emilio Martinez (17) and her grandchildren Destiny (10) and Layla Martinez-White (4) were involved in a fatal car accident. Emilio and Destiny were pulled from the burning car but unfortunately, Donna, Amanda and Layla did not make it. Losing one family member is a tragedy in itself but losing three to reckless driving is just gut wrenching.
Emilio and Destiny are currently in the hospital still undergoing treatment for broken bones and severe burns with a long road to recovery ahead of them.
Donna is survived by both her parents, Maria and Charles Vargas, her brothers Crecencio Vargas, Joe Vargas and Paul Vargas and her children, Stephen Andrew, Alexis and Emilio Vargas. Amanda is survived by her grandparents, uncles, brothers and sister and her two children, Jayden and Destiny Martinez-White.
For those of you that did not know Donna, my cousin had a huge heart and loved her children dearly. She was a devoted hard working nurse. Amanda was outgoing, funny and an amazing mom. Layla Sky was only 4 years old but she left her mark on the world . She always made people laugh with her dance moves, quirky comments and little attitude.
We are asking for donations to assist with funeral costs for not one but three family members. This sudden unexpected loss has left the entire family in shock. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
