Funeral Expenses for Thomas Berg

Dear Friends, Family and Community:

My beloved brother, Thomas Berg, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2024 in Rockford, Illinois. Thomas was a long term resident in a group home with the Milestone Organization. Thomas brought great joy to his family and all who cared for him. We are deeply grateful for the love and support our family and Thomas received over the years. However, we are humbly asking for your help in paying for his funeral expenses.

Thomas only had $1800 in his account when he passed and, conservatively, his funeral expenses will exceed $12,000. My father and I are unable to cover the full cost on our own. We would be deeply grateful for any contribution of any amount to help us lay our beloved son and brother to rest next to his mother, Joyce Berg, who predeceased him in 2020. His memorial service is January 26, 2024 at 11am at First Evangelical Free Church in Rockford, Illinois with funerary services provided by Honquest.
