Funeral expenses for Todd MacRae

I am raising funds to be able to pay for burial/cremation/funeral services for my father, Todd MacRae. He passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2023. He didn't have any life insurance or benefits that would pay for his expenses. I have two small children and can't afford to pay for these expenses out of pocket.

If I get help that covers these costs, I'll take it down and return any donations made. I set the amount at $2,000 to cover the cremation itself ($1,600); a nice urn and some keepsake trinkets for my sisters and mom to keep; gas to and from where he was living to pick up his ashes and deal with any clerical things; and GoFundMe's expenses.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, if you know us personally, please keep my family in your thoughts.

Update: We are coming up short on our goal, so please share on our behalf. We have had some cash donations, some contributions made directly to the funeral home, and we have contributed everything we can out of pocket. We are still about $600 short, not including the extras, like the urn and keepsakes. He should be ready to be picked up this week.
