Funeral Expenses for Todd Whitlock
To begin this story, I want to say, I did have the families permission to make this. I also want to say,in case you are wondering who gets the money once it’s withdrawn, no one does. The money will go straight to the funeral home to go towards the expenses!
Please read below. Thank you in advance! ❤️
We are absolutely devastated to say, Monday, October 26, Clinton Todd Whitlock lost his battle with cancer. If you knew Todd, you know he was all about strength. Todd was so strong and fought so hard!!! But I guess God was ready for him to come home to him. I set up this GoFundMe to try to help his family raise a little money for the expenses of his funeral and other costs. (He had to be transported from Tennessee to Louisiana.) This was all sudden and happened so fast, they were in no way prepared for these expenses. Any donation would help and be so greatly appreciated, even if it’s just $1. If you can’t donate, even your prayers would help! His fiancé, daughter, family and friends could use all the prayers they can get to get through this heartbreaking time.
Todd was a devoted fiancé, father, grandfather and a great friend! He was such an amazing man with a heart of gold and the best sense of humor. He had so much impact on so many peoples lives and he was loved more than these words can describe.
His medical story is below.
In late June, Todd noticed his neck was swollen. He went to hospital after hospital trying to get answers and our small hospitals around here were no help. After only getting worse, on August 3rd, he and his fiancé went to Chattanooga, Tennessee to get the answers they needed. That is where they found out he had a very rare form of cancer. He was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma. The cancer was very aggressive and grew rapidly. Friday, October 23rd, they found out he had sepsis in his bloodstream and they had to stop radiation to start kidney dialysis and antibiotics. The doctors gave it their absolute all, he fought harder than you can even imagine and we all prayed just about every minute of the day. It was just a sickness, even the strongest person couldn’t beat. Monday, October 26th, the suffering stopped, the pain ended and he gained his wings. He will NEVER be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
IFuneral arrangements will be held at Lairds funeral home in Natchez,Mississippi on, Monday, November 2nd. Visitation is at 10am and the services will begin at 11am.
