Funeral Expenses for Victor Mellilo

This gofundme is for the family of my dearest friend Victor A. Melillo. On March 4th 2021, Victor was at training for the Irvington Fire Academy when he suddenly collapsed. After several minutes of resuscitation, they transferred him to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced brain dead. Victor was an only child. About nine months ago, Victors father passed away. Victors dad was on the fire department in Belleville for over 25 years. Victor always wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps; by helping people and saving lives. Even after death, he is fulfilling that dream by donating his organs. Anyone who knew Vic was lucky to know him. Victor was truly born and died a hero. He was an angel on earth. He was one of the goofiest, selfless, loving, warm-hearted, shih-tzu lovin, italian people I’ve ever met. I’m so thankful and grateful that Vic and I were such good friends. All donations will be going to Vics cousin Gina Labar to help his family with Vics funeral expenses.
