Funeral Expenses for Zander Ward

Zander Ward was a sweet, sensitive 18 year old son, brother, grandchild, nephew, cousin and friend...loved by many. Zander loved animals (especially cats). He played many sports in his short life and worked at the C & C Frozen Treats on Main Street in Front Royal and for Papa Johns. Like so many, he struggled with depression and opioid addiction and took his own life. We are saddened beyond words. He has left us way too soon and like others affected by suicide, we wish we could have done more and will be haunted by guilt though he wouldn't want that.

The money raised by this fund will be used to cover funeral expenses. Sara and Dennis (the entire family) want to make sure Zander is given the proper tribute he deserves as the loving family member he is and always will be in our hearts. Any remaining funds will be donated either towards the humane society given Zander's care of animals or to mental health/suicide awareness or substance abuse support.

Bill Long (Zander's uncle) and me (Cathy Long Anderson - Zander's Aunt) will support the administration of this fund for the family.
