Dunn Family Guardian Angel Fund

Donation protected
• After four pregnancy losses we were finally blessed with our beautiful rainbow baby, who is now our guardian angel, Raven Rae Dunn. During pregnancy there were some serious complications and our baby girl came into this world about two months early. Despite being only 2lbs 4oz, she was doing so well it was like a miracle.

• Raven spent a month in the NICU and was expected to stay until her due date 10/31/23. After spending that month in the NICU at 3lbs 15oz the hospital staff decided she was healthy and strong enough to be released about a month earlier than we were originally told, her due date Oct. 31st, 2023. We did our practice overnight stay at the NICU the night before her release and everything checked out perfectly.

• The next day we took her home and within two days she started getting lots of mucus so I monitored everything very closely. Such as diapers, temp, her eating, how she was acting, etc. and everything else was perfectly normal.

• I finally decided to get some rest for a couple hours when she went to sleep and I woke up to find her lifeless body just a few feet away from me. She was purple and stiff, and rigor mortis had already set in. I immediately started CPR for the first time in my life and called 911 and did as instructed until the paramedics arrived. They got there and took over and tried everything they could to revive her and had me leave the room.
They were unsuccessful. I never imagined something like this would happen and the moment had replayed over and over in my head every day and night since.

• When this happened we were staying in Denver while Dad was on the job. We are now back home in Michigan staying with Dad's parents on layoff for the season and still having trouble getting unemployment. A few weeks ago I received a bill for just under $500,000. The hospital was kind enough to give us a discount to about $196,000 for us to pay. We are looking for recourses to help with medical bills and to have a nice funeral service and memorial for Raven, a now this. We could never afford this kind of money in our lifetime.

• We were blessed with a service that covered the cost of Raven's cremation. We are so thankful to know God is taking care of our sweet angel, and she was taken before she had the chance to sin or ever suffer.

• Keep your loved ones close and never take them for granted, because just the very next day, they could be your guardian angel.

• Any resources or donations would mean the world. She should be here with us to meet her family but we will carry her everywhere we go in our necklaces for the rest of our days. Even just a share of our page can help in so many ways. We will keep everyone updated when we know more and get the autopsy report back and things are finally in motion.
Donations will be put into a beneficiary fund/savings that we will not allowed to touch until we have enough to do what we can.

• Donations go to funeral service expenses.
• Donations help pay the insane bill I got recently.
• Donations also for a decent memorial service.
• If you don't want to donate, please at least start the link to Best ppl you have in mind and ask them to share.
