Love is forever, but physical time is not as forgiving. On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, a loving father and man was lost in a tragic accident.
Wilkie Shull was the best a man could be. He was kind and had a smile that would light up a room. He never knew a stranger. And best of all, he selflessly and fiercely loved his daughters and partner with every fiber of his being. His sudden departure has left an open wound in the hearts of those who knew him.
To have lost someone so dear, so close to the holidays, during a year that has been extraordinarily difficult in its own right, is heartbreaking beyond words. The family was just processing the loss of their beloved pets, and now are faced with an enormous burden of grief at the loss of Wilkie.
We are setting up this fundraiser to help cover the unexpected expenses of the funeral and to help his family financially. They have lost more than their fair share these past few months. His daughters are young and barely just starting out in the world, and now they have to navigate this trauma and their lives without their father by their side.
