Funeral & Flowers for Michelle Slates "Mimi"

Hi my name is Macey Mallette. I am Michelle's grand daughter. Michelle "mimi" passed away very suddenly June, 22nd. Mimi loved every single person who crossed paths with her. She supported and was a cheerleader for everyone that she met. She loved her family. Her best-friends are family. She had a huge heart. She loved to travel and be with family and in the sun and on the beach. Mimi loved to be with her grandkids and would show up to every single event, near and far. She was a helping hand, to all with anything needed. Michelle's husband, Ron will be undergoing a serious back surgery early next week and he needs all the help and support we can give. As he plans for that he just lost his life long best friend. My Mimi was his life long partner, happily married for over 52 years. I am creating this go fund me to purchase my Mimi as many flowers as I can and help with any financial burdens I can. If you know Michelle, she had a huge passion for flowers. Her house is a wonderland of flowers just like a botanical garden. She spent hours each day perfecting and loving on her flowers. Each year my Mimi would come up and we would spend the day picking flowers out and head back for hours of weeding and planting. Each flower aisle we passed she knew the name and what it needed to thrive. Tending to flowers was her getaway, her art and something she had so much passion for. I do not have the right words to say right now but I do know that our family is devastated. I want to shower my Mimi with flowers and help with anything I can at this awful heart wrenching time.
