Funeral for Bryan Trahan

I am the daughter of Bryan Trahan, 42 of youngsville, my name is Lexi Burke. I am his only child. Many of you know my dad was a carpenter and loved custome wood work. Unfortunately on Friday afternoon around 2:30pm my family and I received the devastating phone call that something had happened to my dad while he was working on a buddies kazebo and pond in duson. He had been working on this for months and had gotten in the pond multiple times to cool off from this Louisiana heat but this time it was different. Bryan was working on pushing the fountaine back in the pond so the water wouldnt spalsh on the deck. When he jumped into the pond the shock from the cold water hitting his warm body made him have a heart attack and go into cardiac arrest. There was a worker there who noticed he was unconscious and jumped in the pond to pull him out. He then began CPR and called the police. They arrived and unfortunately my dad was gone after they tried working on him for 20-30 minutes longer. We are in such shock from this devastating freak accident and would do anything to have him back. Unfortunately my dad did not have a life insurance policy and my family and I are doing all that we can to come up with some money to give him a beautiful funeral.
