Funeral for Elise Malary
Donation protected
Our beloved Elise was found dead on Lake Michigan shoreline Thursday evening in the 500 block of Sheridan Square. Elise was a wonderful sister, cousin, friend, colleague, and aunt who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was a fierce advocate for the LGBTQ community and dedicated her life to uplifting others. The impact she made will be forever lasting. She was a valued member of the Civil Rights Bureau for the Office of the Attorney General. She was passionate about her work and had a heart of gold. After losing our father in early February, we are devastated by Elise’s sudden loss only a few days after our father’s burial. Our family was not prepared for the cost of another funeral, and during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help that Elise loved so dearly. We want to give Elise the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Elise Malary’s funeral to honor her life and legacy. Any amount will truly help our family.
Thank you so much.
