Funeral for flood victim & family support

My uncle Ang Gelu Lama, along with his wife Mingma Yangji Sherpa, and their 2-year-old son passed away tragically in their apartment during the flooding in NYC caused by hurricane Ida on September 1st, 2021. The sudden loss of our 3 family members in a horrific fashion has tormented our family and friends.

My Aunt, Mingma, was the sole provider for her family in Nepal, which includes her mother and three younger siblings. She has no immediate family in the United States. We're currently working with the Nepali consulate and embassy to bring her mother to the US for the funeral so she can see her daughter and her family one last time.

The donations from this Gofundme will not only help cover funeral expenses but also provide additional support for her family back in Nepal during these hard times.
