Funeral for Irene (Beany) Riffle

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing this to let you know about the loss of Beany. She has been the world's best mom to my best friend, Melanie, and her sisters, Stephanie and Natalie. Anyone who met her knows that she has the sweetest, most loving, and fiercely independent and strong soul. She passed on the 4th of July and is at peace, but it has been devastating to her daughters, family, and friends.

She had been struggling with health issues for many years, including multiple types of cancer. She had been in congestive heart failure since 2020, in kidney failure and on dialysis for the past 2.5 years, and had a fall in April where things went downhill.

Beany’s passing has been absolutely devastating, and she was not financially prepared for the high cost of a funeral. We want to give Beany the celebration she deserves, to honor her memory, and to allow everyone to come together and share memories about the impact she has had on this world.

I’ve started this fundraiser to collect donations for Beany’s funeral service and to help Stephanie, Melanie, and Natalie with any other additional needs that arise while going through this trying time.
