Funeral for Jean Pratt, wife of Pastor Pratt

There are those special souls among us that are called to help others — whose own lives become truly and wholly about uplifting, serving, and getting into the trenches of the real work of life with their communities. If you have been fortunate enough to walk alongside Pastor Carey Pratt and his beloved wife, Jean Pratt, then you have been able to witness their dedication to upholding their Christian values, their commitment to the betterment of others and their church communities, and the selflessness with which they have given of their spirits, their time and their resources.

It is in this spirit we must sadly inform you of the passing of Mrs. Jean Pratt, in the early hours of May 22nd, 2023. She has been surrounded by family at her bedside and we know she is resting with her Savior and other family members now, completely at peace. After an extended year-long battle in and out of hospitals, expenses have been extraordinary. We are humbly reaching out to the communities she and Pastor Pratt have poured into over the years and asking for any small donation to help the family cover funeral preparations and expenses during this period of adjustment. Pastor Pratt would sooner give you the shirt off his back than ask for help himself, so his granddaughters are stepping in — having watched him relentlessly serve others our entire lives — and asking for any assistance you can afford to extend. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We know she was so loved and that is of great comfort at this time. Thank you all.
