Funeral For Martina Mendoza-Gutierrez
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of Martina Mendoza-Gutierrez. Martina lost her life on Saturday, May 15, in a tragic car accident. For those of you who knew her know that any room she walked in would immediately light up. With a contagious laugh, she could have anyone laughing in seconds. Many of you may know Martina from back home in California, others may be friends she's made here in Connecticut, and others may know her as one of the friendly faces you'd see every time you come to the deli at Fitzgerald's!
Martina leaves behind her daughter, Mirannda, her mother, Cecilia, and her girlfriend, Diego. She was the rock behind her family, and will be greatly missed. She would help anyone that needed it, and that is why I am writing this today.
With Martina's tragic and unexpected passing comes a huge financial hardship for her family. Hopefully we can all come together and raise money to give Martina the funeral services that she deserves.
Any extra funds raised will be used for her family's day-to-day living expenses. Without Martina's income comes a financial burden that they will struggle to overcome. Hopefully they will be able to take the time they deserve to grieve with a little less stress.
I want to thank you deeply for taking the time to read about our beloved Martina and for your thoughts.
Best regards,
Cheryl DeVoe - (on behalf of Martina's family)
