In Memory of Michael Capogreco

Our beloved Michael recently passed on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Michael was a wonderful husband, loving son, little brother, godfather and uncle, brother-in-law, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who touched the lives of those around him.
At age 30, Michael was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on his way to his parents’ house. A vehicle made a left turn in Michael's path, and he succumbed to his injuries. Michael, and his devoted wife of less than two years, had a beautiful marriage and were just starting their life together. They recently purchased a home in Webster for their future family and their dog, Link. Michael and Colleen were life partners and soul mates.
Michael leaves behind his devoted wife Colleen Capogreco (Van Bell); his parents, Joseph Jr. & Carmelina Capogreco; Sister, Alana & brother-in-law Julian Bell with niece & goddaughter, Alia; Grandparents, Joseph Capogreco Sr. & Rosa Costanza; Mother-in-law & father-in-law, Janet & Jerry Van Bell; Brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Rob & Elissa Van Bell with nephew Caleb; Aunts & uncles Vanessa Capogreco, Michael Moran, Ann & Andrea Mercone, Sandy & Frank Posato; Also many cousins, loving family members, dear friends and his beloved dogs, Link and Gia.
Michael was always the light in every room. His joyful spirit was contagious and there was never a person he met that was not impacted by him. Mike was very passionate about music, especially playing jazz on the saxophone, karate, health and fitness, bodybuilding, bike riding, the Buffalo Bills, Italian coffee, video games with friends, Christmas, traveling, learning new things, training and playing with his dog, Link, and most of all the love for his family and friends. He prioritized spending time with his loved ones above all else. His wife, Colleen, was the joy of his life and brought out the very best in him since the day they met.
He's a graduate of Webster Schroeder H.S., Monroe Community College and Nazareth College.
We are all devastated by Michael's loss. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Michael's funeral, burial and any expenses his wife will endure due to our unexpected and tragic loss.
Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help the family during this difficult time.
Thank you so much for your love and support.
