Funeral for Nick Martin

Dear Family and Friends,

I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of my nephew, Nick Martin. Nick passed away on Thursday, June 29th at his apartment working on what he loved, his RC cars.

I am Linda Delage, I am setting this account up to help my sister Laurie and her family pay for the funeral expenses. I am asking for your help (large or small) in helping my sister Laurie and her family pay for the funeral services.

The funeral service will be held on July 15th in his hometown of Northfield MA.

Below is a list of funeral service expenses that will need to be paid by August 4th, 2023.

The amounts are average, for the ones that I could find, and are not the specific amount of the funeral services.

Funeral Service Director: ~ $2300

Embalming & Cremation: ~ $2180

Use of funeral home viewing rooms: ~ $500 -$700

Basic printed materials: ~ $200

Now to tell you a little about Nick.

He was a generous and loving soul that provided help, without hesitation, to family and friends. Nick struggled with many health issues, but would always have a kind word, a big hug, and would open his home to those who needed a helping hand. Also, Nick loved and cared deeply for his four-legged companions and would do everything in his power to keep them safe and happy.

Nick loved working on his RC cars (go Drave Digger, one of his favorites), his four-legged companions, and most of all his family and the many friends that he has met along the way. There are many fond memories of family gatherings with all the cousins gathered around enjoying a good meal and many laughs. One such occasion comes to mind; it was a holiday celebration at my sister's house. It was the year that Santa came to visit, and all the cousins were starry-eyed in wonder as Santa handed out the presents.

His wonderful smile, big hugs, love, and generous spirit will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Please open your hearts in memory of Nick's loving and generous spirit to help my sister and her family in their time of need.
