Funeral for our Mom Gwen (Wendy) Harvey

Our beloved mother Gwendolyn Harvey recently passed on yesterday 12/20/2022. She was an amazing sister, aunt, daughter, and mother who lived a very trying life. She leaves behind five kids, eight grandkids, and one great-grandchild.

Our Mom dedicated her childhood and young adult life to all around her, especially her family. Despite being a single mom and the struggles she endured, she always provided for us kids, our extended family, her parents and those around her. She leaned on her faith, traditionally and modernly in everything she did. Her life took a dramatic turn after losing her Dad, & was filled with temptations, shortcomings and trials. She struggled with life & things only got harder. However, within this last year her health began to diminish, her mind began to slip, but her heart and spirit were stronger than ever. She stayed true to her spirit, faith and prayers.

We are devastated by her loss and we prepared as much as we can for this day; however, due to the holidays & our own family life, we were not prepared for the high cost of her funeral service & fell short. We want to give her the memorial she deserves & say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of her funeral. We need to raise $3,500 by 12/28/2022. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time & if you're not able to please share.
