Funeral for Tesfaye Kassa

Funeral and burial arrangements for our beloved brother, Tesfaye Kassa.

Our brother Tesfaye KASSA, before his untimely death, was young, family oriented and full of life. He was a man with a warm smile and a charming heart, who moved to Canada 15 years ago. A very hard working man, loving kind husband and father of one beautiful 17 years old girl. Everyone who met Tesfaye had their spirits lifted. He was passionate about his work and his community and touched many hearts.

On Tuesday 5th of October , while sitting in a Toronto park taking in some fresh air after work, an armed man attacked him with a knife. The ambulance came and rushed him to the Emergency but by the time he got to the Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. He was gone.

Tesfaye lived in Toronto and worked as a Aircraft Technician but his parents live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

We are soliciting your generous donation to repatriate his body to Addis Ababa , Ethiopia as per the wishes of his family. The cost to repatriate the body is approximately $50,000 and other funeral expenses back home in Addis. The fund will assist with transportation of his mortal remains to their final resting place in Addis Ababa and care for his daughter who has been left fatherless so early in her life.
