Funeral Fund for Alex Melillo
Donation protected
My name is Yaf Marston, I was the supervisor for a very young, talented and rising star co-worker and friend, Alex Melillo, age 27, who unfortunately passed away unexpectedly, June 30th. His family and co-workers have been deeply saddened by the news. Alex was a very smart and talented software developer at NIH who lived serving others here at work and at home. He drove over 3 hours total coming to work and back because he loved working with the team and enjoyed his work. At work, he was very task driven, completed any tasks he was given and was always willing to help others even if its outside his comfort zone and learn something new. At home, Alex lives with his family and spent time taking care of them with frequent doctors and hospital visits for his grandmother.
Alex was an avid sports fan, a fanatic for the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, an All Carroll County lacrosse player in high school and a dean’s list student at Frostburg State University. He has been with our organization for almost 5 years and has made significant progress each year, assuming more responsibilities and taking on challenges while helping others. He always had a strong mindset that he can learn and do anything. It is with this attitude that he proved to us time and time again, that success can be a product of perseverance and determination. His loss has touched all of us, He will truly be missed but never forgotten.
We know no support can compensate his family loss, however we are reaching to you for any means of monetary support to ease their burden for them.
All donations will be given to his family, I will hand this account over to them as a beneficiary and they will withdraw from there.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
