Funeral Fund for Federico - Bklyn Delivery Worker

My name is Alfonso Zaput Palax and I am the brother of Federico Zaput Palax. On Tuesday July 22, 2021, my brother Federico was killed when his scooter collided with a dump truck in Kensington, Brooklyn.

My brother worked as a delivery worker for Dao Palate restaurant in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. He worked hard during the pandemic as an essential worker to provide a better life to his two children and his wife in Guatemala. We are an honest and hard working family that migrated from Chuacruz, Solola, Guatemala to Brooklyn, New York. My brother Federico was 27 years old and he was the father of two kids of 8 years old and another one of 11 years old.

Federico was a kind and generous person, always supporting his neighbors by helping them find jobs or get information about how to survive as an immigrant in this city. My brother did not deserve to die the way he did. While we fight to get justice for my brother, we are hoping to count with your support in helping us raise some funds to cover his funeral expenses and to support his wife and two kids in Guatemala.
