Funeral Fund for Marsalina Overton

My name is Marcus Perez and my mother's name is Marsalina Overton. On 2/8/25, my mom passed at the age of 51.

She was a dialysis patient for over 10 years. After fighting through countless hospitalizations, surgeries, and emergency room visits she made the impossible decision to end treatment and go on hospice care.

My mom endured everything from kidney disease, to heart failure, multiple surgeries, blood transfusions, breathing tubes, infection after infection, and even a stroke. Somehow through all this she always found way to remain grateful. She always had a smile on her face. Most importantly she never lost her faith.

Her decision to go on hospice took our family by surprise because her strength was like no other, but my mom clearly had given everything she could for as long as she could. It was time for her to finally rest. She passed way after only 3 days on hospice.

Leaving behind me and my 4 younger siblings. we’re asking for any donations to help cover funeral costs while we figure out how to move forward. I promise anything is appreciated.
