  I have been asked to tell about myself and how this campaign came to be. 

  My name is Patty Rich, and I am a teacher at the U School, where Mouhamed Cisse was finishing his junior year of high school. I had not seen him since the schools closed in mid-March, and was shocked to hear of his passing.

  The very first thing the school administration did upon receiving the news was to reach out and support Mouhamed's mother, Manance Cisse, in her time of grief. Administrators asked her permission to create a GoFundMe campaign, for which she is the beneficiary. She gave permission, and I was glad to set one up.

  We are heartened by the generosity and support of Mouhamed's local community and his greater circle of friends. Manance appreciates the support and help with the cost of the funeral, interment, and any medical bills, as well as lost wages and the unexpected expenses that arise following a tragic loss.
