Funeral Fund For Our Father Raudel Ramirez Godina

Our father, Raudel Ramirez Godina earned his wings and entered the gates of heaven on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 12:29 pm - it was also his 78th birthday.

He was a wonderful son, a brother, a father of 2 sons and 2 daughters, a father-in-law, a grandfather of 6, an uncle, and a friend to anyone who had time for his neverending-outrageously funny stories! He loved his family, he enjoyed riding his electric red scooter across the city and loved traveling to his beloved birthplace, Mexico. He was a unique soul with many phrases that without a doubt, will be repeated and remembered during family gatherings!

On March 18, 2023, he and his brother suffered a terrible car accident while traveling to Mexico. His brother suffered two broken legs and although he is still in the hospital, he is expected to fully recover. Our father, on the other hand, suffered major trauma to his body and extensive injury to his left leg. Unfortunately, the hospital in Mexico did not provide the expedited care needed, including a sanitary environment that resulted in a blood infection and eventually sent his body into septic shock. He was transported from Mexico to UCSD Hospital but his body was too weak to fight what the doctors referred to as a "smart bacteria", none of the medications worked. He fought a good fight for a little over a month until the Lord called him home. We are confident he was greeted by his mom, sister and nephew.
