Funeral Fund for Tim Carpenter
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of my husband’s brother, Tim Carpenter. Tim was admitted to the ICU at Mercy hospital this past Friday evening, after experiencing chest pains and low blood pressure after finishing dialysis. As it turns out, Tim suffered a heart attack. In addition, it was found that he was septic, and all vital organs were shutting down. My husband Greg, his younger brother, had to make the heart wrenching decision to place Tim in Hospice care last night. In following Tim’s wishes not to be kept alive by artificial means, Greg honored his brother in the most selfless way by making the decision to let The Lord’s will be so. Surrounded by his family, and while being prayed over by his dear friend and pastor, Tim left his pain and suffering here on earth, and stepped into Glory. While we knew Tim was struggling with his health and slowly declining, this sudden turn for the worse was very unexpected, and we are not prepared. Tim has no life insurance policy or funeral pre-payment plan in place, nor the means to cover the expense associated with laying him to rest, and Greg and I are not in a financial state to be able to cover it all ourselves. We are setting up this GoFundMe account to ask for support from our and Tim’s loved ones to help us cover his funeral and burial expenses. Any additional funds raised will go towards purchasing Tim’s headstone, and helping us clean out his apartment. If you are not able to donate, we absolutely understand, and would simply appreciate your love, support, and prayer during this difficult time. We chose this photo of Tim and our kiddos, Arabella and Asa, as it beautifully captures the absolute pride, joy, and love he had for his only niece and nephew. “FUNcle Timmy” was their favorite person, and we are so grateful for the time they were blessed to have him in their lives. Tim loved The Lord, and leaves a legacy of personal strength and living by faith with these two Carpenter kids. ❤️
