Funeral Fundraiser for Thomas Boganski

We are writing to you today to let you know about the loss of our father Thomas Boganski. Our father passed away the morning of December 5th in his home here in Henderson, NV. His death was sudden and very unexpected.
We are absolutely devastated by our father’s passing. Unfortunately, our father had no life insurance and we are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Cassie is a full-time nursing student and not working and Tasha just graduated Nursing School and recently got a job but is only able to help so much due to all the loans and bills she must pay now.
We are all devastated by our Dad’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service . We want to give our Dad the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. He was a Veteran and served in the Air Force and he also dedicated most his life to Martial Arts.
Based on the quote we received, the cost for the Funeral will be around $7,000. We will need to pay all funeral costs by December 15th so we can lay our Dad to rest on December 20th. My sister and I selected the most basic Funeral package that was the least expensive.
We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. We are really struggling to understand all of this and are faced with a lot of difficult decisions to make. We are also trying to sell some of our Dad’s stuff from his apartment but it’s very hard to part with his personal items since that’s all we have left.
