Funeral Fundraiser: Honoring the Memory of Junior Exilhomme
Donation protected
On 11/10/2024, exactly one month before his 27th birthday, we tragically and unexpectedly lost my brother, Junior. He died attempting to deescalate a fight. It comes as no shock to us that he was doing the right thing. Our family is devastated and still struggling to come to grips with what’s happened.
Junior Exilhomme was born in Naples, FL to Venite Edouard and Merest Exilhomme on Dec. 10, 1997. He is survived by his parents, his sisters Weslande Jean Baptiste and Sagine Exilhomme, his partner Angelina Galli and their four children: Nina (8), Asia (7), Mazi (6), and Violet Exilhomme(2).
Junior was a family man. If you’d ask me about him I’d tell you he was a super dad. He helped get his kids ready for school every morning including learning how to do the girls hair. He was the sole financial provider for his family, ensuring they had everything they needed or wanted. We will miss his laugh and his famous mac and cheese that he made every Thanksgiving. Our lives will never be the same without him.
As we deal with the shock of his sudden death, we are underprepared for all that comes with it. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds another element to the grieving process, often a lack of closure. But beyond that, there are added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.
This GoFundMe is intended to help with funeral costs and support Junior’s partner and children through this difficult time. Any donation is greatly appreciated as we mourn the loss of our beloved family member.
