09/27/2020: It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my husband, Juan Carlos Torres. He died unexpectedly Friday, September 25 a day after celebrating his 43rd birthday at home. We are overwhelmed with grief, but grateful for the many memories that we created as a family.
Juan Carlos was a doting husband, loving father to our four children, fun uncle to all his nieces and nephews, helpful son and brother. He was also a proud veteran of the Marine Corps and hardworking steel worker. He meant so much to many that these few lines don't begin to encapsulate the whole man that he was.
Funeral arrangements are still being planned and will be announced soon.
In place of flowers, we ask that you consider donating funds to help cover my husband's funeral expenses. You can drop off your donations at our home or if you prefer through this Go Fund Me account.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness and ask for continued prayers that we may find peace concerning this tragedy.
