Funeral Funds for Patricia Singleton Taylor

Donation protected
Patricia Singleton Taylor was born on August 11th, 1940. She was one out of ten siblings who grew up on a family-owned farm in Charleston, South Carolina. Patricia was a strong fighter. She had been back and forth between hospitals, had Congestive Heart Failure, made it through two knee replacement surgeries, survived Encephalitis (which is an infection of the brain), and diabetes. Despite all these tribulations, that left her in hospitals, rehabs, and physical therapies, she always found her way back home to Willows Avenue. She never let anything stop her from living life and caring for her family. Patrica was a hard-working mother who worked every day, cooked every dinner, and cared for her three children along with her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a caretaker, a provider, a mother, and a wife.  After her husband suffered a stroke that has now left him paralyzed on one side, Patrica became his primary care and comfort. That is why it is absolutely heartbreaking to have had the news of Patrica's passing on January 11,  2021, as she was battling Covid-19 and suffered many other weakening occurrences because of it. She is remembered by her community, family, and loved ones for her love of Sam Cooke and Ottis Redding; for always opening her home to those who needed a delicious home-cooked meal, and for always lending a shoulder to lean on.  During this time we are accepting donations to give Patrica a proper goodbye. Please support Patrica Taylor's family at this time by donating and or sharing the link, thank you.
