Funeral Funds for Wray Hart
Donation protected
I have been asked by Gofundme to provide a little more detail about some things beginning with who I am and what my relationship with Wray was. I am Natasha Pyke and Wray was my friend we met about 10 years ago and he was just amazing in every way. Also I would like to let people who have donated that I am in contact with his family and when it is time to withdrawal from the campaign that the money will be used to pay for any costs of the funeral service.Once we withdrawal I will be giving the money to the proper parties to cover the costs. Thank you
It is with great sadness that I make this account. January 27th a very special friend to many people passed away due to a car accident involving a drunk driver. Anyone who has lived in Halifax in the past 25 plus years has
had the opportunity to meet Wray.
You would see him most days standing at the steps of the old library on spring garden road, pushing his cart collecting bottles or at Sunday supper. Many people may remember him as the man who slept on the bench on Queen st although he was homeless for a long time he was not homeless at the time of his death. He lived in a building with people that adored him and loved him dearly. He touched the lives of everyone he met and I know everyone has some fond memories when they think of Wray. He was a kind an amazing man who struggled through out his life but always remained happy and positive. He would do anything for anyone regardless of his own situation. He deserves the best so please let's give it to him. He has been there for me personally and I am grateful that he was in my life and I had the chance o know him. So let's help him have a funeral worthy of the man Wray Hart was.
