Funeral Help for Harlan Chan's Legacy
Donation protected
It’s never easy losing a loved one. I’ve lost both parents in 2018 due to a negligent driver. I lost my support, foundation and basically my whole life then and there. My grandparents also lost their child. My grandparents and my sister both lost them too soon.
My grandfather has always been a pillar of strength. Harlan T. Chan is leaving behind a legacy of struggle as an immigrant who worked hard to build businesses and found ways to support my mother and got her to where she got as an adult. He was also in the US army, he made a new version of himself when he arrived to the states. I looked up to him in all aspects of his life. Aside from the pursuit of making a livelihood he was also an avid and extreme hiker, camper in Denver. He also painted and was a photographer. He was a man of many talents and I always aspire to be like him that’s why I also have those interests. My grandmother after a year of my parents passing also was diagnosed with colon cancer , so my grandfather has been through a lot . I am hoping he’s at peace now and living his best life in heaven. It hurts talking about him in this paragraph because there’s so much more to say, but I am doing what I can to remember him. I’m organizing this to help my grandmother with all funeral and memorial services. I’d like to in advance thank you all for your support and love I’ve already received. Thank you
Funds will be allocated to assist grandmother with burial, preparations, services for memorial. I personally have been able to provide for my grandfather his headstone and most of the legal processes. Everything helps and we are so appreciative
